Katerina's Musical Stage Debut - November 30th

Monday night Katerina made her stage debut in The Magical Land of Oz; a 25 minute condensed Wizard of Oz for kids in K through 2nd grade with the Jelly Bean group of Random Farms Kids Theater. She loves to sing and dance so we decided to let her try it out. She was cast as the Tin Man. At first she was so disappointed she didn't get the part of Dorothy. (so was every other girl in her group except the one that got the part of Dorothy) Adding to the disappointment was that she would be a man wearing a metal costume! And pants to boot; no dress. Thankfully the costume was soft material at least. They have been rehearsing since September and little by little she decided it wasn't such a bad part after all.

It was really well done, but the best part was that she had alot of fun! Unfortunately, Constantin and Sophia were both very sick with the flu and could not attend. Constantin was heartbroken. He said he's been waiting all his life for this. Luckily they had a videographer and we'll be getting a DVD so he can at least see the show.

A couple of her friends and their families came to see the show so at least it she had a good amount of support.
