Money Lessons

This morning we realized Sophia will be starting school on Monday and she doesn't know our money system. We started with coins. She was outraged that a dime is worth more than nickel and penny even though it's smaller. We played with a few transactions and she was able to make change easily. We asked her for $1.39 and she had no trouble picking out the dollar bill and the right coins.

It wasn't until later this afternoon that I realized she doesn't know her last name or her address. Guess we better start with the basics.
